The Handoff

ABOUT SARA

Women kept asking me how I did it.

I'm Sara Ritchie, a fractional COO. I've run operations since 2007 and coached more than a hundred dental practices and businesses.

When I started using Claude inside my own work, the women around me noticed. Office managers. Practice owners. Women running their own businesses. They all wanted to know how.

Everything they found was written for tech people. So they decided AI wasn't for them, or for their practice.

It is. That's why I teach it.

THE WORK BEHIND THE WORK

100+

practices and businesses coached in operations

2007

the year I started running operations

Under 4

hours it took me to teach myself Claude

The problem was never the team.

One founder came to me sure her team was the problem. They missed the mark on every task. Her team said her directions were unclear.

Both were right. Everything lived in her head. Once we got it out and into written processes, the team ran it without her.

I've seen that same story in practices with three people and companies with thirty.

Then I found the fastest tool I've ever used for this.

I taught myself Claude in under four hours. Prompts, Projects, Skills, and a knowledge base for my own business. Then I put it to work.

Now I use Claude every day across my email, calendar, Slack, and Asana. It drafts my replies and tells me where I'm spread too thin before I feel it. Once it told me to reschedule a meeting and leave for the airport so I wouldn't miss my flight.

I don't teach every AI tool on the market. I teach Claude, and the systems around it, because AI without systems just makes faster chaos.

That four-hour path became From Curious to Confident.

HOW I WORK

What you can count on

No jargon.

If I can't explain it the way I'd explain it to a friend over coffee, I don't teach it.

No promises I can't keep.

I won't promise you a number of hours back or a revenue number. I haven't seen your business yet.

Working systems, not workbooks.

You leave with things running, not a binder.

No patient data, ever.

For dental practices, nothing with patient health information goes into Claude.

In their words

"Sara has a unique ability to take all the moving pieces in my workflow and connect them in a way that creates clarity, efficiency, and massive time savings. What can feel overwhelming and disconnected suddenly becomes simple."

MELINDA, BUSINESS OWNER

"From Curious to Confident helped me firm up a couple areas in Claude that I've been wanting to better understand. The Skills and Project modules were very helpful for me. I am already looking forward to thinking of new ways to take these tools and apply them to next steps on the career path for me."

Methods I built and teach

The TASK Formula

Four parts for prompting Claude: Task, Audience, Style and Specifics, Keep in Mind.

The NRRO Method

Four parts for building Claude Skills: Name, Role, Rules, Output.

The Operator's Audit

The first step of The Handoff. I map every workflow you hold, put a dollar figure on the work that shouldn't need you, and fix the most expensive thing first.
